What is Rhodium
Rhodium is an ultra-rare precious metal of the platinum family. It is used as an excellent coating for other metals like silver thanks to some of its specific and exclusive properties. Rhodium is a hypoallergenic metal, which means it does not cause allergies like other metals do (nickel for example). Plating jewelry with rhodium gives it an exceptional shine and luster. It's also highly resistant to corrosion or tarnish and thus serves as a protective coating for many jewelry.
